The Riverbend Student Angler Trail Announces New North Alabama Schedule for High School Anglers
Scott Ashley and his Board of Directors are proud to announce the RiverBend Student Angler Trail! This endeavor has been on the hearts and minds of Scott and his lovely wife DeAnna Ashley for many years and is set to launch this September the 10th on Lake Wheeler! The mission of it is to get kids fishing and, in the outdoors, especially those who have not had the opportunity to do so. RiverBend Student Angler Trail recognizes our youth play an important role in the future preservation of bass fishing and our natural resources. In addition, we believe involving our youth in these outdoor activities help to build leadership qualities and integrity that will serve them well as they become young adults. Based on this, our mission statement is: To mentor youth in Commitment, Character, Conservation and Competition. Anglers, grades 8th thru 12, are invited to sign up and compete in all four tournament events. RSAT is Sanctioned by B.A.S.S. and allows us to Qualify anglers to the Bassmaster High School National Championship.
