For ten years, the Elite Series has been Cashion Fishing Rods’ flagship rod lineup, offering the best rod available on the market, however at Cashion Fishing Rods, innovation and improvement is always number one. Given the success of the Elite Series, Cashion Rods set out to create an even better rod, and after countless hours of research and development the ICON Series was born. The first thing you will notice is a different blank. Cashion Rods began with an all new carbon fiber pre-preg, sourced from right here in the United States. Not only is it lighter, it is also more durable and impact resistant as well as having a new and refined look. The ICON Series blanks are still manufactured using Cashion Rods’ signature uni-directional blank rolling technique that maximizes sensitivity while remaining featherlight.

You will also notice that our grips not only look different, but they also feel different. The grips are made from a lighter high density composite and instead of the yellow fiberglass and black carbon fiber grips, the ICON Series features an all new gray Kevlar and black carbon fiber that not only feels softer to the touch, but is also considerably more durable. You will literally be fishing with the same material that bulletproof vests are made out of while maintaining Cashion Fishing Rods’ signature sensitivity.

Finally, the ICON Series will utilize the best components in the world from American Tackle Company featuring a more comfortable and ergonomic reel seat with shorter threads.
